Talk to Itherael
 | Itherael I am Itherael, archangel of Fate. It is my duty to record what is and what will be within the Scroll of Fate. But you, nephalem—you are not in the scroll. Your fate is unwritten. |
 | Barbarian Then I shall write my destiny in Diablo's blood! You can watch all of creation burn, or you can help me now. |
 | Crusader I care little for destiny. Will you help me, or should we stand here and watch the Heavens fall apart? |
 | Demon Hunter Then I shall try to make the best of it. Will you help me? Or stand and watch while the Heavens fall to darkness? |
 | Monk Then I will write my own destiny. Watch all you know burn around you, or aid me now. |
 | Witch Doctor Then my destiny is unknown. Write it with me, or watch all of creation burn around you. |
 | Wizard Then I shall write my destiny in Diablo's blood! You can watch all of creation burn, or you can help me now. |

Enter the Library of Fate
Kill Rakanoth
Destroy Auriel's Prison in the Library of Fate
| Diablo My armies flow through the Hell rifts. Heaven will be destroyed long before you set one foot into the Silver Spire! |
Talk to Auriel in the Library of Fate

Destroy the Rift Oculus in the Hell Rift
| Diablo Look upon these gardens. Now they seethe with the corruption of Hell! |
| Diablo (either) You think to destroy the oculus? My frinds will tear you apart! |
| Diablo (or) So, you approach the oculus with the aim to destroy it? You will not succeed! |
| Diablo (or) If you destroy the oculus, my Hell rift will consume you! |
Use Auriel's Portal to leave the Hell Rift
| Auriel Well done, nephalem. Diablo's vile minions can no longer use this rift to find their way into the Silver City. Now, only one rift remains. |
Enter the Gardens of Hope 2nd Tier
| Diablo That is not the only Hell rift. The flow of my legions will not stop. |
| Diablo I draw closer to victory, nephalem. You are too late, just as you always have been. |
Destroy the Rift Oculus in the Hell Rift
| Diablo (either) You think to destroy the oculus? My frinds will tear you apart! |
| Diablo (or) So, you approach the oculus with the aim to destroy it? You will not succeed! |
| Diablo (or) If you destroy the oculus, my Hell rift will consume you! |
Use Auriel's Portal to leave the Hell Rift
| Auriel The Hell rifts are closed! You have far exceeded my expectations, nephalem, but there is not a moment to wast. Quickly—you must make your way to the Silver Spire. |
Find the portal to the Crystal Colonnade
| Diablo The Hell rifts are closed, but it is of no matter. Soon there will bo nothing left of these High Heavens... |
