A bit of contradiction, this page states that Itherael was indifferent towards sanctuary whilst Malthael voted to destroy it, yet looking at their individual pages reveals that Itherael voted to save Sanctuary whilst Malthael stayed neutral. IIRC, and it's very vague, the latter is true. Someone with the book and a shaper memory than mine want to verify and edit as needed?Elder 21:46, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

Page Link Change[]

I just want to state here -- since the edit summary is no place for a full explanation -- that I changed the page link under "Sin War" from Sin War to Great Conflict because it didn't make any sense, based upon the sentence:

The main point against its existence was also the reason for it to be preserved - the humans having the blood of both Angels and Demons in them had the potential to be stronger than both, serving as powerful allies in the eternal Sin War.

To use the phrase eternal Sin War is rather misleading, as Sin War refers to a specific period of events in Sanctuary's history, and it also would be confusing to basically state that humans created themselves to help in a war (Great Conflict). I suppose one could argue that the Sin War never ended and mankind is always going to be involved one way or another, but it'd be a very academic discussion.

Unless someone can provide good reason to have it reverted, I feel it would be best to leave it be. Sojourna 09:07, 24 January 2012 (UTC)

I agree with your reasoning, as the Sin War is not the event the paragraph is describing. The proper term in the recent lore is however the Eternal Conflict, as opposed to the Great Conflict used in the earlier Diablo material, so I merely changed that small detail .--PhrozenDragon 16:26, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for catching that; I hadn't known about it. Sojourna 18:57, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
