Salvation increases elemental resistances for both the Paladin and any allies in its radius, however it does not affect Poison or Magic resistance. It also suffers heavily from diminishing returns as more points are poured into it, much like many other Paladin auras. Combined with the constant need for offensive power in Diablo II to perform well in later difficulties, it is not advisable to use this as a main aura. It can be used in situations that require extra resists however, such as against Superunique monsters.
Lore[]
Trust in the glory of the Light, for its authority supercedes all power in the mortal world. With this aura, the Paladin calls upon the Light to protect his allies from elemental attacks. [1]
