In the quest Reign of the Black King, players face their first boss encounter of Diablo III and are introduced to their first follower. This quest returns players back to the Cathedral depths and ultimately into the Royal Crypts where the Skeleton King rests.

	Barbarian Leoric’s crown has been reforged.
	Crusader I have the crown
	Demon Hunter How might I use the crown to reach the Skeleton King?
	Monk I have the crown. Where is the Skeleton King?
	Witch Doctor The crown is in my keeping. Direct me now to the lost king.
	Wizard I have the crown. How do I reach the Skeleton King?

	Deckard Cain At last. With it, you can unlock the sealed door in the room where you rescued me and enter the royal crypts. When you find the Skeleton King, place the crown atop his head… and destroy him.

	Barbarian I will crush him and find the fallen star.
	Crusader Male If it helps me find the fallen star, I will put an end to him.
	Crusader Female If it helps me find the fallen star, I'll face him.
	Demon Hunter When he is destroyed, I shall finally reach the star.
	Monk The Skeleton King lies at the heart of the imbalance in this land. I will end his reign and find the fallen star.
	Witch Doctor The Skeleton King's sickness infects this land. I will put an end to it and find the star.
	Wizard The Skeleton King dies today. I must find the fallen star.

Use the New Tristram Waypoint to return to the Cathedral Garden

Enter Leoric's Passage

Go to the Cathedral Level 2 through the Ornate Door

Descend through the Cathedral

Give aid to the Warrior

	Barbarian Who are you?
	Crusader Who are you, friend?
	Demon Hunter Who are you?
	Monk Who are you?
	Witch Doctor Who are you?
	Wizard Who are you?

	Warrior (Templar) You will know soon enough. Help me find my gear, I will reward you well.

Find and Kill Jondar

Join the Templar

	Templar Thank you for your aid. I will go with you on your hunt for the Skeleton King, but there is one condition.

	Templar If we find the sacred tomes of my order, they are mine.

	Barbarian Agreed.
	Crusader If these tomes are not the key to redeeming the Zakarum faith, then they are indeed yours
	Demon Hunter Very well. I have no need of books.
	Monk Your books have no worth to me. They are yours.
	Witch Doctor Agreed.
	Wizard That is agreeable. Though I wouldn't mind taking a look at them...

	Templar Then onwards we go to fight the Skeleton King.

	Witch Doctor So, you are the fire that fell from the sky. Why do I find you here, at the source of this place’s darkness?
	Wizard It was you that fell from the sky? I don’t believe that you are the source of the evil in this place.

	The Stranger I am… I-I was… I… I remember falling.

	Barbarian Then who are you? Why are you here?
	Crusader Through several floors at least.
	Demon Hunter Do you remember who you are?
	Monk Who are you?
	Witch Doctor Do you remember why you are here?
	Wizard Then who are you? Why are you here?

	The Stranger I am not your enemy. I think… Yes, I-I believe… I have come with a warning.

	The Stranger The darkness… the darkness… is coming! I must… I don’t remember…

	Barbarian I will take you to see Deckard Cain. He knows much.
	Crusader Be calm, and come with me,
	Demon Hunter Perhaps Deckard Cain can help you. Come with me.
	Monk I will take you to Cain. He will Help.
	Witch Doctor I will lead you to Cain. He will lead us to understanding.
	Wizard I should bring you back to town. Cain will know what to do with you.
