Kill the Wretched Mother north of the gate to New Tristram. The wretched mothers and their queen raise the dead to foul life. The militia is too weak to perform this task, so I must find the creatures and send them back to their graves. When I am finished, New Tristram will know safety.

The Legacy of Cain Quest Log
Use the New Tristram Waypoint to go to the Old Ruins with Leah. Leah is determined to find her uncle, Deckard Cain, who she believes has somehow survived the destruction in the cathedral. I am sceptical, but for her sake, I will search for him.
Go to the Old Tristram Gate northeast of the Old Tristram Waypoint. Leah has come with me to show the way to Tristram Cathedral. We venture deeper into the forest that surrounds the town, and I suspect only greater danger awaits us in the fog and mist.

A Shattered Crown Quest Log
Talk to the blacksmith Haedrig Eamon in northwest New Tristram. Leah is filled with joy that her uncle is alive and safe, but I must turn to other matters. The Skeleton King, who was raised by the fallen star, bars my path. Deckard Cain told me that the village blacksmith, Haedrig, knows the location of Leoric’s crown, witch is vitally important if I am to confront him.
Kill the Ravenous Dead in the Cellar of the Damned in northwest New Tristram. The villagers locked those who are afflicted by the curse of the risen dead within the cellar beneath the blacksmith’s house. Haedrig’s wife is one of them. When no one else would take up the task of putting their neighbors to rest, Haedrig volunteered, but he cannot bring himself to do it. I will help him, for the gods have given me the strength to see such things done.

Reign of the Black King Quest Log
Use the New Tristram Waypoint to return to the Cathedral Garden. With the repaired crown, I have the means to destroy the Skeleton King. I can now open the golden door that seals away the lower depths of the cathedral. Its crumbling halls will echo with the sound of my footsteps. The Skeleton King will know that I come.

Find the oasis gate in the Flooded Causeway beneath the Caldeum Bazaar. My path brings me into danger. Adria believes we can succeed against Belial and his brother Azmodan by obtaining the Black Soulstone, an artefact that can contain the souls of the Lords of Hell. But only a dead mage named Zoltun Kulle can retrieve the stone. Except he is not dead... He was torn apart by the Horadrim, hidden away to keep the world safe from him. Now we must restore him and hope that he will aid us.

Turning the Tide Quest Log
Raise the catapults in Stonefort. I have lit the signal fires, and I can see their reflections in the eyes of the men. But demons swam the Stonefort and prevent us from raising the catapults, witch we need to aid the soldiers on the battlefield below. I will raise the war machine from the depths if I must lift them one by one with my own hands.
Return to the Bastion's Keep Stronghold. The catapults fire upon the demons in the battlefield. Soon it will be time for me to join the main fighting.
