Haedrig Eamon is the blacksmith artisan in Diablo III and the first artisan to join the player. He is first met during the quest A Shattered Crown where he asks the player to aid him in killing Mira Eamon, his wife, who has become undead.

After helping him, he tells the player where to find Leoric's Crown. It was buried with his grandfather, Chancellor Eamon, who was an advisor to King Leoric in life. Upon returning the crown to Haedrig, he repairs it and subsequently joins the player in their quest.
